AMERICAN ELEMENTS ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW LINE OF ROTATABLE SPUTTERING TARGETS

[ July 30, 2008, Los Angeles, CA ] American Elements announced today the launch of a new product line dedicated to producing ultra high purity rotatable sputtering targets from many metallic, oxide and alloy materials.

This new product line was developed due to the growing demand for larger area thin film deposition capabilities in the solar energy and other fields. The new rotatable targets have lengths up to 1,000 mm. American Elements produces rotatable sputtering targets by plasma deposition onto a tubular substrate and by casting.
